As of now, the plan is to meet every Wednesday and Sunday. At the next discussion we will work on drafting demands to make to the general body of Occupy STL. There is a Women Occupy section under the General Discussion of www.occupystl.org if you want to make suggestions of those demands.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to see this connection being made. Corporate Capitalism could not have come into being if not for the pre-existence of fundamental patriarchy, with its philosophical basis of dominance in the world. Without ending patriarchy, and creating a world that embraces cooperation and belonging instead of dominance, we are lost before we begin.
And it is truly, deeply heartening to see Feminism being occupied and voiced in the Occupy Movement. Without it, Occupy will surely fail.
